ANGLO-SAXON HERITAGE OF THE WINE ROUTE
The Wine Route merges with the Townships Trail which highlights the American and British heritage in the Eastern Townships. The Townships Trail meander through the area over a distance of 415 km from Granby to Ulverton passing by Lac-Brome and Sutton in Brome-Missisquoi.
Spread over 120 km of beautiful winding country roads and crossing 7 hamlets and villages considered the most beautiful in Québec, the Wine Route leads you to 16 wineries. Discover the architectural heritage and natural landscapes, the legacy of the first people to settle the Townships.

Brome-Missisquoi has six towns which display the Townships Trail logo: Bedford, Cowansville, Frelighsburg, Lac-Brome, Stanbridge East and Sutton. The visitors will be able to learn more about museums, heritage societies, exhibitions and history through the interpretation panels.
