Roger Huet, wine critic and animator of the «Littérature et Gourmandise» programme at Radio Ville-Marie 91,3 FM, had visited the Wine Route for a few days last July. Following this short tour, he wrote an article intitled : Les excellents vins de glace du Québec (The excellent ice wines of Quebec) that was published on Samy Rabbat’s website and that of the online newspaper La Métropole.com.

Brome Lake Duck Festival
Come regale yourself on September 8th 2010, from 5pm to 8pm at Domaine les Brome where you will be offered delicious duck entrées, wonderful music and local wines.
The Brome Lake Duck Festival has recruited renowned caterers from the region, who will prepare duck entrées that are out of the ordinary and will make your mouth water! As a special treat, our spokesperson, Jean-François Plante, will be present with his own succulent delights! Presented as a “Fashion Show”, each entrée will be introduced and explained by a facilitator who will take the time to add a learning component to this vibrant parade. Indeed, each presentation will include a description, a list of ingredients, how to make it and what it goes best with.
This gourmet evening, with service provided by students from the St-Edouard school in Knowlton, will be sure to entertain you. This event will help contribute to the organization of the Brome Lake Duck Festival and to the wellbeing of the St-Edouard school, all while giving you the chance to try a variety of elaborate entrées made with local products.
Indulging yourself with duck, an exceptional presentation and a memorable evening has never been so affordable!
