We\u2019re currently witnessing history in the making for Qu\u00e9bec wines. Vignoble de l\u2019Orpailleur<\/a>, Domaine des\u00a0C\u00f4tes d\u2019Ardoise<\/a> and Vignoble de\u00a0La\u00a0Bauge<\/a> have all crossed a major milestone by celebrating over 40 years of existence. Today, with trends rapidly evolving, these groundbreaking pioneers are slowly making room for a new generation of winemakers. In fact, we\u2019re observing this change happening at Domaine du\u00a0Ridge<\/a> and at Maison Agricole Joy Hill<\/a>.

A Legacy from Father to Daughter<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Marie-Florence Crevier-Paradis is part of a small handful of young Quebecers who had the chance to grow up on a vineyard. Domaine du\u00a0Ridge<\/a> in Saint-Armand, founded by her father Denis Paradis 30 years ago, has become one of Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s major producers. She\u2019s now at the helm of an estate counting more than 150,000 vines and a seasonal team of nearly 30 employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the early days, Denis made wine simply for the pleasure of it, welcoming family and friends to come help with the first harvests. It was always a festive event for everyone who came. At the end of the day, we\u2019d empty the barn to set up a few tables and chairs and share a big BBQ supper.<\/a><\/p>Marie-Florence Crevier-paradis<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n
