Day 1

First Stop

The Vignoble Clos Ste-Croix is quite unique, since it’s the only vineyard established right in the heart of Dunham. With its entrance directly accessible from the town’s Main Street, this 3-hectare domain spans the expanse behind a remarkable Georgian-style home, dating back to 1856, the famous “Seneca Paige House.” Since 1991, Michèle Lamarche and Pierre-Paul Jodoin, ardent owner growers, have produced a variety of grapes, including traditional hybrids, such as Maréchal Foch and viniferas, producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The welcome area and the boutique are both set in the estate’s old horse stables, creating a warm, exceptional ambiance. Plus, you’ll also find accommodations for an overnight stay in the charming Villa du Vignoble.

Second Stop

Here you’ll be setting foot on the grounds of Québec’s very first commercial vineyard established in 1980! Indeed, Domaine des Côtes d’Ardoise is a true winemaking pioneer. Here, you’ll experience a very authentic moment as you explore their rural setting. Not only will you be won over by their award-winning organic wines and ciders, you’ll certainly be charmed by the magnificent gardens, heritage buildings and even more delighted by the Nature et Création outdoor art exhibition.

Third Stop

Nestled inside the picturesque Relais de la Diligence, a historic building dating back to 1865, the Brasserie Dunham microbrewery has been inviting guests to discover their craft beers since 2011. Inspired by European brewing traditions while embracing American modernist methods, the master brewers propose a vast portfolio of flavours to tantalize any palate! Barrel-aged beer, high lulupin content, intensely fruity or delicately wild. The adjacent restaurant pub is the ideal venue for savouring these beers on site, accompanied by delicious cuisine, both indoors in the friendly ambiance of the old mail relay station, or on the magnificent sunbathed terrace.

Day 2

Little Italy in Dunham is what you’ll experience with the Gagliano family’s Sicilian heritage, handed down from generation to generation. Established since 2008 on these breathtaking hills and dales, their winemaking know-how blends ancestral traditions with modern world Québec customs. When you think of Italy, you right away think of great tasting wines. Gagliano wines have been awarded time and again. But here Italy is also synonymous with pizza! In addition to the tastings offered in their charming boutique set inside an old barn, the magnificent terrace overlooking the vine-covered fields and the picnic area, the vineyard also offers you delicious pizzas baked in wood-burning ovens. Day 3

First Stop

Founded in 2002 by Louise Dupuis and Christian Barthomeuf on the site of one of Québec’s oldest orchards, Clos Saragnat covers 35 hectares at an altitude of 220 metres, on the sunny slopes of Mount Pinacle, in Frelighsburg. This dedicated couple uses a low-key, respectful approach to agriculture, inspired their nature observations and reacting without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Christian Barthomeuf, another member of Québec’s elite viticulture industry pioneers, created the world’s very first ice cider in 1989. Here, he produces his vintage ice ciders and farmhouse ciders on lees, as well as a rarely seen vin de paille or straw wine, developed using the traditional method. Their philosophy? “Do only what must be done.” In a space where biodiversity rules, chickens, birds and insects participate in the natural balance of this exceptional estate where ancestral practices hold court!

Second Stop

In the heart of the Route des vins, the Val-Caudalie vineyard grows its fine quality fruit on an amazing terroir facing the Appalachian Mountains and transforms their harvest into savoury wines and ciders. Founded in the spring of 2005 by three “old” high school friends — Guillaume Leroux, Julien Vaillancourt and Alexis Perron — today, the domain radiates throughout and beyond the region thanks to their shared passion and sense of pride. For nearly twenty years (and six kids) later, and year after year, this close-knit trio continues to forge Val Caudalies’s reputation. Guests will enjoy the vineyard’s vast covered terrace. From here, they can admire an amazing view overlooking the valley while sampling products ranging from traditional wines to their own creations, including craft vermouth, their ice ciders and sparkling wines.

Third Stop

The family-owned Vignoble du Ruisseau is at once a vineyard, a distillery, a cider house, an organic maple grove and a country-style restaurant established within a simply magnificent setting.
